ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Welcome to my website! I’m Inghild, author of a growing list of clean, dark romantasy. I love fantasy, and I live and breathe for romance. Romantasy was therefore the perfect genre for me, both as a reader and writer. My books will often have elements of mystery, action, fairy tales, and Northern folklore.
I’m a soil scientist by day, mother in the afternoons, and author in the evenings. I live off tea, and have nine teapots in regular use—and if you wonder, I absolutely need them all!
My biggest source of inspiration, perhaps surprisingly, is anime. The time twisting stories of Re:Zero and Steins Gate inspired Balance, while Inuyasha sparked the idea of Spelled & Forgotten. My favorite romantic anime is Kimi ni Todoke (From me to You), and my favorite shounen . . . is as of now undecided.
The ideas arrive quicker than I can write them, so the only thing I can do is to hang on and enjoy them one at a time, as I’m writing and developing the stories. My current project is a Princess & Troll standalone <3

This was my first book on Norwegian folklore, and it's a story based on the Huldra. After reading this book, I did some research, and it pulled me in more. The lake, the forbidden forest, the history... This story has memory loss, friendship, overcoming personal struggles, and death. I enjoy reading/listening to the multiple POVs. Both main characters have personal struggles, and the multiple POVs explained things perfectly. This book does have a happy ending and gives you all the feels good vibes. Which I'm a HUGE fan of.
